Now in republic on average 39 pupils use one computer. As a whole across Russia that makes more than 48 pupils. However, according to UNESCO, noted Mamyshev, the norm for weakly developed countries is 13 pupils, for the developed ones - 5 children and one computer.
Note: in Adygeya since 2001 till the end of the past year the federal target program "Development of uniform educational information environment" was operated. In 2004 under that program in the rural schools of republic computer classes were equipped, in the past year - in towns and villages. That fact explains rather high under the Russian standards equipping of Adygeya schools with computer technics.
The main partner of the Ministry of Education and science on maintenance of schools with Internet connection is "Electrosviaz" (Telecommunication) of Adygeya. According to the head of the modern technology department of the enterprise Adam Panesh they can connect to the world wide web all the schools on existing telephone lines, but that technology for some reasons is inconvenient for schools.
As Panesh explained, they should consider the most comprehensible ADSL technology. "For providing of all the schools, - he said, - it is necessary to set up rather expensive equipment in each settlement. We’re solving the problem, but within one or two years to solve it completely will not be possible".
In republic, the head of "Telecommunication" department noted, there are examples of using alternative ways of connection to the network. For example, - through a satellite. The opportunity of using that technology, according to Panesh, now is studied in the Government of Russia.
