The electoral committee of Karachaevo-Circassia intends to appeal against in cassation order against the decision of Cherkessk town court on cancelling of elections date of the head of the town administration, dated to March 12th. That the vice-president of the electoral committee of Karachaevo-Circassia Ajmagomed Kataganov informed.
As he said, on the eve the judge had announced only the productive part of the verdict; the substantiation of the born decision in full way would be received by Friday. Having received on hands all the documents and having studied them, the electoral committee would define the further actions. But the decision of the court will be appealed against in any case.
On February 7th, 2006 Cherkessk town court had cancelled the decision of the municipal elective commission of the town from December 31st, 2005 about dating of elections of the mayor of the republican capital to March 12th.
In Cherkessk town court with applications for recognition illegal decisions of the municipal elective commission of the town concerned dating of elections of Cherkessk town administration to March 12th the vice-president of Cherkessk municipal elective commission Valery Starovojtov, member of the elective commission Razima Bostanova, and also two citizens of the republican capital addressed.
Earlier on December 31st, 2005 at the extraordinary session of the municipal elective commission of Cherkessk the date of elections of the head of the town administration was dated. At the session seven from ten members of the commission were present. At present the time mayor of Cherkessk is Peter Korotchenko.
